Meet the Players
2 Stacey Kimball
3 Lauren Bogard
Lauren is a sophomore, who has played basketball for as long as she can remember. At one point she almost quit the sport, but one of her coaches talked her into doing one year of Redmond Select and she gained a new respect for the game. She has played for multiple teams, some of them including an AAU team, B Flight and of course Redmond Select. Lauren also loves volleyball, and played for the school this year. In her spare time she loves to be with her friends, watching movies, shopping, eating or just hanging out.
5 Lauren May
Lauren started playing basketball for Redmond Parks and Rec in the first grade and has played every season since. She played Rec basketball until the 4th grade when she stopped and played AAU for a year. Then as a 6th grader, she began playing for the select program which she kept playing for until 8th grade. From 7th-9th grade she played basketball for the RJH team and won awards such as the Most Inspirational Award and Coach’s Award for her work as a captain. Last year she won the Most Inspirational award as well. Lauren can be found running whenever she doesn’t have basketball to keep in shape for the Cross Country season. She would like to thank all those who have supported her this last year and worked so hard for her to make a return back. She would like to thank everyone for their love and support.
10 Makaela Hayward
Makaela began playing basketball in the fourth grade with the Redmond Parks and Recreation Department. She then played for the Redmond Select program from 6th thru 8th grade making many friends and having great experiences. Makaela also played for the Puget Sound Flight program in 8th grade. In 9th grade she played for the Varsity team at Redmond Junior High. During her first year of High School she played for the JV team and had an amazing experience. In the off season you can find Makaela hitting golf balls for the Redmond High School’s Girls Golf team. Besides Basketball and Golf, Makaela loves church, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family and is very excited and looking forward to a great season and wants to thank all her friends and family for coming out and supporting her and the team.
11 Erin Windham
Erin began playing basketball in the third grade for Redmond Parks and Recreation. She continued to play for the program until sixth grade when she made the Redmond Select Team. She played both select and Puget Sound Flight until the ninth grade. While attending Redmond Junior High, Erin played varsity for all three years, and was Captain in both eighth and ninth grade. During this time, the Junior high team was undefeated district champions. In eighth grade, she was voted by her teammates as the most inspirational player. In tenth and eleventh grade, Erin played for the Junior Varsity Team and enjoyed meeting all the girls. Last year, she was a swing player as well as the Junior Varsity Captain. Erin is very excited for her senior season and being with her teammates for the last time. When not playing basketball, Erin enjoys hanging with friends, shopping and watching all kinds of sports. She would like to thank her parents and her Rob and Big girls for always being at her games and supporting her. For college, Erin hopes to attend USC, Santa Clara University or Pepperdine where she will major in Business Administration. Erin’s favorite quote is one by Michael Jordan: “Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen"
14 Makayla Walker
Makayla Walker began her basketball career at 6 years old. From Saturday sessions in the Park and Recreation league to the Redmond FLIGHT program, and AAU league. Makayla spent many summers playing at HOOPFEST, in Spokane WA, she played coed, family league, as well as girls. Redmond Select was another outlet which Makayla began in the 6th grade continuing through 9th grade. In Middle school Makayla attended Cedar Park Christian, and was awarded most inspirational player 2006, and MVP 2007. Makayla also played summer AAU in 6th grade, and started Puget Sound Flight in the 7th grade. In 2009, as a Sophomore at RHS, Makayla played Junior Varsity ball and was offered the opportunity to be a swing player half way through the year. Makayla received the “hustle award in 2008-2009. Makayla also spends much of her time playing golf on the RHS golf team, and she runs in cross country and is a snowboarder. You can expect to see speed, focus, 100% dedication and impactful defense play from Makayla this year. She is looking forward to helping Redmond enjoy an excellent season.
15 Hannah Lee
Hannah has always been a ‘sports kid’ and began playing organized sports with Redmond Park and Rec and Lake Washington Youth soccer as early as the first grade. In addition to basketball she also played softball, soccer and golf. In 6th grade she joined the Redmond Select program (6th- 9thgrade) and Puget Sound Flight (6th – 10th grade). Hannah played Varsity for Redmond Junior High 7th through 9th grade. The RJH team was the undefeated District Champion during her 8th and 9th grade years. While playing for PS Flight, Hannah received the Tournament MVP award at the Auburn Riverside AAU tournament. She also received the Coaches Award in 9th grade at RJH and the Coaches Award at RHS as a member of the JV squad. Hannah has also been a volunteer coach with HomeCourt in Woodinville, WA. Hannah enjoys hanging out with her friends and making them laugh! She is very excited about being a member of the Varsity squad this year and joining all of her teammates in having a great year.
20 Taylor Kopak
Taylor started playing basketball in the 4th grade for Redmond Parks and Recreation and has been playing ever since. She joined the Redmond Select program in 7th grade and played through ninth grade. In 8th grade she played for Varsity at RJH which had undefeated record and the title of District Champions. In 9th grade Taylor was voted as a captain for the RJH Varsity team. The two years she was on the RJH team, they went two years undefeated and were back to back District Champions. Taylor also played her 9th grade year in the Puget Sound Flight program and traveled to Las Vegas and Oregon. She has played for the high school for two years and was a swing player her junior year. When Taylor isn’t playing basketball she loves to play other sports such as soccer and snowboarding. Taylor is looking forward to having a fantastic season.
22 Ali Jorgensen
Ali, otherwise known as “Jorgy” on the basketball court, started playing hoops in kindergarten with the Redmond Parks and Rec program. In fourth grade she made the sixth grade select team as a practice player. Ali has played with the Redmond Select program ever since. She has played AAU basketball with the Puget Sound Flight program since fifth grade and most recently played with AAU EBI. In 9th grade she played for Redmond Jr. High as Captain of her Varsity team, and was elected MVP for the season. Along with basketball, Ali also enjoys playing soccer, snowboarding, skiing, and hanging out with family and friends. Ali loves basketball and is excited for a fun season.

Jessica began playing basketball in the 7th grade for Cedar Park and was voted Most Inspirational by her teammates & won the Coaches Award. In 8th grade she played for Redmond Junior High Varsity which had an undefeated season and won Districts. In 9th grade Jessica played for Puget Sound Flight & Redmond Junior High Varsity and was voted Most Improved by her teammates. She went on to play basketball with Redmond High School JV last year which had a great season. This year, Jessica is super excited for the season with new coaches and is hoping for a great season as always. Jessica also enjoys playing other sports including; soccer, softball, track and volleyball. When not playing sports some of her favorite activities are shopping, hanging out with friends, singing & laughing.
