Meet the Players:

3    Lindsey Heitlauf
Lindsay started playing basketball in the third grade. She played with the Redmond Select Program for five years and Redmond Junior High varsity for three years. She has been playing on the Seattle Magic since the sixth grade. This season she hopes to contribute to the team and be successful in the state tournament. She has played select soccer and participated in volleyball and track at Redmond Junior High, and track at RHS. With the team’s hard work and determination Lindsay is looking to help her team to a fourth consecutive trip to the Tacoma Dome.  Back to Varsity Roster Page.
4    Laura Trieselmann
Laura has played basketball since the fourth grade.  She also played in the Redmond Select program and thoroughly enjoyed playing basketball at Redmond Junior High.  She likes to play soccer and volleyball in her free time.  Laura is excited to step up and contribute to her team as much as possible.  She looks forward to her senior year and her future. Back to Varsity Roster Page. 


10    Rachel Gillum
Rachel began playing basketball in the third grade through Redmond Parks and Recreation and continued playing for the Redmond Select program, Redmond Junior High, and for the AAU Seattle Magic program.  Rachel was selected co-captain as well as MVP in the ninth grade on her junior high team and went to Nationals with her Magic team two years in a row.  Rachel is involved in other activities such as track, cross-country, the honors program and volunteers weekly at Evergreen hospital.  She loves school, church, and spending time with her friends and family.  Rachel is excited and looking forward to a great season.

12    Autumn Rene Garis

 Autumn has played basketball since the third grade. She played five years with the Redmond Select Program and all three years of varsity basketball at Redmond Junior High. She played with Seattle Magic since the fifth grade. Other interests are church youth and missions activities and soccer. She went to Nairobi, Kenya, Africa last summer for a sports ministry missions trip. Autumn participated on the varsity cross-country team as a freshman, sophmore and senior. She was Rookie of the Year as a freshman  and received the Coach's Award her senior year. Her team had the privilege of going to State all three years. She desires to be a well rounded student athlete, keeping her GPA as high as possible. Autumn's personal goals are to finish a successful high school experience, God willing play college ball and pursue a college degree in exercise science. This will be Autumn's third year playing for the Redmond Stangs Varsity basketball team. They have been to State twice. The team took 2nd place in the State Championships last year, '00-'01. Her team goals are for good chemistry, continual improvement, return to State and hopefully bring a State Championship home!  Back to Varsity Roster Page.
13   Megan West
Megan started playing basketball in the second grade with the Northshore Youth Basketball Association (NYBA).  She played in the Eastlake Select  Program from 6th to 8th and with the Redmond program in 9th grade. Megan  also enjoys playing soccer, and has done select since 6th grade as well. She  was in the Washington State ODP pool team, and has been a starter on the varsity soccer team at RHS for two years.  Megan looks forward to working and playing with the RHS basketball program. Back to Varsity Roster Page.

20    Claire Pallansch

Claire started playing basketball in the 2nd grade in Texas, and she was taller than her coach!  In the 5th grade she began playing in the Bothell Select Program, and in the 9th grade moved to Redmond and played for the Redmond Select Program, and Redmond Junior High. Claire also started playing Seattle Magic AAU basketball in the 5th grade, and that is how she met all these Redmond players. Claire loves her nickname “TC” given to her by Dennis Edwards.  Claire is a Natural Helper, enjoys playing volleyball, running, dancing, and listening to music.  Her goals this season are to be an outstanding rebounder, and a defensive force for the Mustangs. Back to Varsity Roster Page.
21   Shireen Mansoori
Shireen started her basketball career in the first grade through Redmond Parks and Recreation.  She later started playing in the Redmond Select Program in the sixth grade.  Throughout grade school, Shireen was enrolled in many other sports such as soccer, track, softball and swimming.  She now mainly focuses on basketball, although she still enjoys recreational soccer. Some of Shireen’s favorite memories include going to state with the 2001 Women’s Cross Country Team, and winning the 2001 Hoop it Up and Four on the Floor Tournaments this summer. In addition, Shireen loves school and hopes to keep her 4.0 GPA.  She dreams to someday play college basketball at a Division 1 college. Back to Varsity Roster Page.
22   Kellie Carpenter
Kellie started playing basketball in 2nd grade with Redmond Parks and Rec and has continued developing her game at Redmond Junior High and in the Redmond Select program. Basketball is her favorite sport, so she plays on teams in summer and fall, then is a referee for grade school games. Her goal for this season is to improve her skills in order to help the team as much as possible, and to have fun.  Back to Varsity Roster Page.

23    Jenny DeYoung
Jenny has played basketball since the fourth grade. In the sixth grade she joined the Redmond Select Program, where she continued to play through ninth grade. Jenny has also played on the Seattle Magic AAU since the seventh grade. At Evergreen Junior High, Jenny played on the Varsity team starting in the seventh grade. She also enjoys playing soccer and tennis. Jenny had a great time playing on the Redmond High Girls Varsity team as a sophomore and a junior and is extremely excited for the season. Jenny hopes to help her team in any way she can this year in hopes of another state appearance. Back to Varsity Roster Page.  
24    Alex Tosti

Alex started playing basketball in the third grade with the boys and girls club program.  She played with the Redmond Select program, as well as the Seattle Magic Program  from the 5th grade through the 9th grades.  At Evergreen JH she played Varsity all three years receiving the MVP Award in her 9th Grade year.  Alex also received the MVP Award at the Little Oregon City Tournament two years in a row.  In school she works as hard as she can to get good grades, and is hoping to keep her 4.0 GPA throughout high school.  Other sports Alex enjoys are playing soccer, skiing and crew. She loves to hang out with her friends, go to movies, and shop!!  She knows this year will be very successful, and hopes to contribute in any way she can.Back to Varsity Roster Page.
31    Allison Klingerman
Allison started playing basketball in the third grade in the Redmond Parks & Recreation Program. In the 5th grade she started playing for the Redmond Select and the Seattle Magic programs which she continued with through the 9th grade. She was on the Redmond Junior High Varsity Basketball Team for three years and co-captain with Katie Henderson for her 9th grade year.  Allison has run track at for 3 years, and has played soccer since the second grade. Last year she played varsity for the Mustangs, and hopes to win the state title this year!  Back to Varsity Roster Page.
32    Katie Henderson
Katie has been playing basketball since third grade and played select starting in fifth grade. In seventh grade she was selected to be on the varsity basketball team at Redmond Junior High. Her honors include MVP at Redmond Junior High in 8th and 9th grade and co-captain of her team in 9th grade. One of the highlights of her career was making the game winning shot to beat Lake Washington Junior High. She was selected for an all-star team in the Oregon City tournament. Katie also enjoyed playing Magic basketball all year round. Katie went to nationals with Magic where her team placed 17th out of 77 teams. During the summer of 2001 Katie played for Puget Sound Flight who took 1st Place at the San Diego Showcase, and was named to the All Tournament Team at Big Oregon City. For RHS basketball, Katie’s most memorable moment was making the game winning shot against Kennewick in the 2001 State Tournament.  Katie also enjoys playing volleyball and played varsity on the Redmond High team last year.  Back to Varsity Roster Page.
33    Jamie Edwards
Jamie has played basketball since the first grade. When she was in sixth grade she had the opportunity to play Redmond Select through the ninth grade. Overall, her team was extremely successful. She also played varsity basketball at Evergreen Junior High and received the Coaches Award in 8th and 9th grade and MVP in 9th grade. She is proud to say that she is a Natural Helper and was nominated for Girl of the Year in 9thgrade. During the summer Jamie plays basketball for Puget Sound Flight. In her spare time she enjoys eating, sleeping and shopping!  Back to Varsity Roster Page.
34    Ashley Graham
Ashley has been playing organized basketball since the fourth grade. Since then, she has played for the Redmond Select and  Seattle Magic Programs for five years. Ashley played for the Redmond Junior High team for all three years, winning Most Inspirational in 9th grade. She has received many awards throughout her career including a team MVP in Oregon City, making the tournament team at the Huskies basketball camp 5 years in a row, and being named Defensive Player of the Quick handle Camp for 2000. Ashley also enjoys competing in 3 on 3 and 4 on 4 tournaments during spring and summer. Ashley is a hardworking student carrying a 3.9 GPA. 41    Candace Leach
Candace has been playing basketball since the first grade with Redmond Parks.  In the sixth grade she began playing Redmond Select. Over the summer she played on the Washington Hoopsters team and traveled to Oregon, San Diego, and Las Vegas. Last year she went with the varsity team to California and to the State tournament. Candace is looking forward to this year's team and excited to see how far the team will go.Back to Varsity Roster Page.
