Meet the Players:

3    Alex Tosti
Alex started playing basketball in the third grade with the boys and girls club program. She played with Redmond Select program from 5th grade through 9th grade, and with the Seattle magic program from 5th grade through 10th grade. At Evergreen JH she played varsity all three years receiving the MVP award her 9th grade year. Alex also received the MVP award in the Little Oregon City tournament two years in a row. In school she works as hard as she can to get good grades, and currently has a 3.9 GPA.  Alex also loves music and shopping for shoes, and she also enjoys hanging out with her friends and going to the movies. 

10    Rachel Gillum
Rachel began playing basketball in the third grade through Redmond Parks and Recreation and continued playing for the Redmond Select program, Redmond Junior High, and for the AAU Seattle Magic program.  Rachel was selected co-captain as well as MVP in the ninth grade on her junior high team and went to Nationals with her Magic team two years in a row. Rachel is involved in other activities such as track, the honors program and works part-time at Emerald Heights. She is Junior class president, loves school, church, and spending time with her friends and family. Rachel is excited and looking forward to a great season.

20    Claire Pallansch
Claire started playing basketball in the 2nd grade in Texas, and she was taller than her coach!  In the 5th grade she began playing with the Bothell Select Program, and in the 9th grade moved to Redmond and played for the Redmond Select Program, and Redmond JH.  Claire also started playing Seattle Magic AAU basketball in the 5th grade and played for them for 6 years. Next summer, Claire is looking forward to playing for the Puget Sound Flight Program.  Claire volunteers weekly at Bailey-Boushay House in Seattle, enjoys running, dancing, listening to music, and eating.  Her goals for this season are to dominate in the paint with the help of her teammates.

22   Mackenzie Flynn
Mackenzie started playing basketball in the first grade.  When she was in the 5th grade, she began playing for the Redmond Select program and continued to do so through the 9th grade.  Mackenzie also also played for the Seattle Magic for three years, and is presently playing for the Puget Sound Flight Program. She played three years of varsity basketball at Evergreen JH, winning the MVP award her 9th grade year.  She has received many awards throughout the years including All-tournament team for two straight years at the Little Oregon City tournament, and top offensive player at the Quick Handle camp. Mackenzie hopes to maintain her honor roll status throughout her high school years.  Mackenzie is extremely excited about playing on such a talented team and contributing in any way she can this season

31    Allison Klingerman
Allison began playing basketball in the third grade in the Redmond Parks & Recreation Program.  She played for the Redmond Girls Select program and on Seattle Magic from 5th grade through 9th grade.  Allison enjoyed running track in Junior High and playing soccer in the Lake Washington Soccer Association for 9 years.  She was on the Redmond Junior High School Varsity Basketball team for 3 years and co-captained with Katie Henderson during her 9th grade year. This past spring and summer Allison played basketball with the Seattle Heat.  Allison has played varsity for the Mustangs for 2 years and looks forward to a really fun and successful senior year!  She plans to continue playing basketball next year at Western Washington University.  
32    Katie Henderson
Katie has been on the basketball court since third grade, playing her way through Parks and Rec., Redmond Select and AAU ball with Seattle Magic and Puget Sound Flight.  She has played varsity basketball since 7th grade.  She will go to University of Southern California next fall and continue her basketball career as a USC Trojan.  She has enjoyed going to Nationals with her summer teams.  She was chosen Eastside Athlete of the Week, received scholar athlete awards, 4A King Co. honorable mention, and “Player of the Day”.  Katie wants to have a great senior season at Redmond and help the team earn another State berth.

33    Jamie Edwards
Jamie has been playing basketball through the Redmond program since the sixth grade. She played varsity basketball at Evergreen Jr. High and
received the coaches award in 8th and 9th grade and the MVP in 9th grade. Jamie plans on attending a four year college next year, but is undecided on the location. She is extremely excited for her senior year with the Stangs and hopes for a successful season. In her spare time Jamie enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

34    Ashley Graham
Ashley has been playing organized basketball since the fourth grade. Since then, she has played for the Redmond Select and Seattle Magic Program for the past 6 years.  She was named to the All-Kingco Second team, All-State First team, and All-Eastside team as a junior.  Next year Ashley will play for the Santa Clara Broncos. Her goals for the Stangs this season include creating good team chemistry and being fun to watch.
