Meet the Players:



3    Lindsey Heitlauf
Lindsay HeitlaufLindsay started playing basketball in the third grade. She played with the Redmond Select Program for five years and Redmond Junior High varsity for three years. She has been playing on the Seattle Magic since the sixth grade and is looking forward to another year with the team. This season she hopes to contribute to the team and be successful in the state tournament. She has played select soccer and participated in volleyball and track at Redmond Junior High. With the team's hard work and determination Lindsay is looking to help her team to a third consecutive trip to the Tacoma Dome. 
10    Jamie Edwards
Jamie EdwardsJamie has played basketball since the first grade. When she was in sixth grade she had the opportunity to play Redmond Select through the ninth grade. Overall, her team was extremely successful. She also played varsity basketball at Evergreen Junior High and received the coaches award in 8th and 9h grade and MVP in 9th grade. She is proud to say that she is a Natural Helper and was nominated for Girl of the Year in 9th grade. She tries to maintain a 3.8 GPA, but sees that this year brings a lot of new challenges. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends, exercising and shopping!
11    Melissa Scott
Melissa ScottMelissa started playing basketball with the Boys and Girls recreational clubs in California in the third grade. She played two years of varsity basketball at Evergreen Junior High and earned most inspirational in the 8h grade. She moved to Redmond Junior High in her ninth grade year where she also played on the varsity team. She was named MVP. Melissa played select basketball for the Redmond Program in 8h and 9h grade. Melissa also played select and premier soccer throughout her junior high career. She has enjoyed playing on the Redmond High basketball team. Melissa has been to state twice and is hoping to make it a third time. One of Melissa's most memorable trips was to California where her team won their holiday tournament and she was named to the All Tourney team. In addition to basketball Melissa loves hanging out with her seven best friends, her boyfriend and working at Express. She is looking forward to college and still weighing her choices.
12    Autumn Rene Garis
Autumn GarisAutumn has played basketball since the third grade. She played five years with the Redmond Select Program and all three years of varsity basketball at Redmond Junior High. She played with Seattle Magic since the fifth grade. Other interests are church youth and mission activities and recreational soccer. She desires to be a well rounded student athlete, keeping her GPA as high as possible. Autumn's personal goals are to finish a successful high school experience and God willing play college ball. Her team goals are for good chemistry, continual improvement, have her team defend their Kingco Title, return to State, and have FUN.
23    Jenny DeYoung

Jenny DeYoung
Jenny has played basketball since the fourth grade. In the sixth grade she joined the Redmond Select Program, where she continued to play through ninth grade. Jenny has also played on the Seattle Magic AAU since the seventh grade. At Evergreen Junior High, Jenny played on the Varsity team starting in seventh grade. She also enjoys playing soccer and tennis. Jenny had a great time playing on the Redmond High Girls Varsity team as a sophomore and is extremely excited for this upcoming season. Favorites: book- Where the Heart Is; CD- Deana Carter; Movie-Pretty Woman 
25    Kim Campbell

Kim CampbellKim has played B-Ball since the third grade. She started playing select ball  in the sixth grade. This summer she played on an AAU team called Washington  Hoops. They played at various tournaments including Oregon City where she  was named to the all tournament team and was awarded the co-MVP for her age group. She plays volleyball and plans to turn out for track in the spring. She hopes to return to state this year and hopefully bring home a state championship. Kim recently accepted a scholarship to the University of New Orleans.


31    Allison Klingerman
Allison started playing basketball in the third grade in the Redmond Parks & Recreation Program. She played on the Redmond Select Team for five years and on the Seattle Magic team for five years. She was on the Redmond Junior High Varsity Basketball Team for three years and co-captain for her 9th grade year. She ran track at Redmond Junior High for two years and has played soccer since the second grade. Allison has always been a "Mustang" and hopes to contribute this year to the success of the RHS team.

32    Katie Henderson
Katie has been playing basketball since third grade and played select starting in fifth grade. In seventh grade she was selected to be on the varsity basketball team at Redmond Junior High. Her honors include MVP at Redmond Junior High in 8th and 9th grades and co-captain of her team in 9th grade. One of the highlights of her career was making the game winning shot to beat Lake Washington Junior High. She was selected for an all-star team in the Oregon City tournament. Katie also enjoys playing Magic basketball all year round. Katie went to nationals with Magic where her team placed 17th out of 77 teams. Katie also enjoys playing volleyball and played varsity on the Redmond High team this year.
33    Brandi Gordon

Brandi GordonBrandi is a three sport letterman at Redmond, excelling at volleyball, basketball and softball. She was the second team All-KingCo catcher in her sophomore year. Brandi uses determination and hard work both on the court and in the classroom, carrying a 3.9 GPA. She has played sports in the Redmond area all her life. Her fondest moment of her youth basketball career was scoring 34 points in a game at the age of 7. Brandi is extremely excited about this opportunity to step up into a leadership position on this year's very talented team. Her goals are all team based; KingCo, District, and finally State Champs! Brandi will rely on competitive passion, hard work and intensity to lead her to success this season. A season in which she expects phenomenal things from the Lady 'Stangs.

34    Ashley Graham
Ashley has been playing organized basketball since the fourth grade. Since then, she has played for the Redmond Select program for five years and Seattle Magic for four years. Ashley played for the Redmond Junior High team for all three years, winning Most Inspirational in 9th grade. She was the Honors Society VP in 9th grade at Redmond Junior High. Ashley has received many awards throughout her career including a team MVP in Oregon City, making the tournament team at the Huskies basketball camp four years in a row, and being named Defensive Player of the Quick handle Camp for 2000. Ashley also enjoys competing in 3 on 3 and 4 on 1 tournaments during spring and summer. Ashley is a hardworking student carrying a 4.0 GPA into high school. She is currently enrolled in honors classes.
41    Candace Leach
Candace LeachCandace has been playing basketball since the first grade with Redmond Parks.  In the sixth grade she began playing Redmond Select. Over the summer she played on the Washington Hoopsters team and traveled to Oregon, San Diego, and Las Vegas. Last year she went with the varsity team to California and to the State tournament. Candace is looking forward to this year's team and excited to see how far the team will go.
